Our first IVF was through a small clinic in Indianapolis. The clinic offered the lowest fee for IVF that I could find and I liked that it was small. The doctor seemed knowledgeable. The staff was unprofessional and moody. But we didn't know any better. The doctor thought I would be a great candidate for mini-IVF. IVF with low stimulation that produces a small amount of eggs. We had 5-6 follicles prior to my egg retrieval. When I woke from my sedation, I was told that we only had one egg. I must have ovulated. I was devastated.
The next day I received a call that our one egg had fertilized and we would be doing a 3 day transfer. This IVF resulted in a negative test.
